Harp player in Dubai – Kateryna Oliinyk is a professional Rooming Harp player in Dubai who’s acclaimed for her thrilling playing technique in her live shows. Born in Kyiv Ukraine, Kateryna first developed the love and interest in playing the harp at age 7 and later went onto furthering her passion by attending and graduating with Honors at the Kiev Institute of Music R.M. Gliera, receiving the Junior Specialist, Bachelors Degree and Master Degree in Harp Performance. She has performed with orchestras, among them the “Symfomania”, performing on a Lyon & Healy electro harp in a Rock Ensemble using digital processors and effects to alter the sound of the Harp. Throughout her time with the group, She has composed several original pieces for the Ensemble and also as a solo artist; moreover, she has performed with “Symfomania” to crowds as large as 16,000 people and completed over 300 performances during 5 years. After touring Europe with the “Symfomania” in 2015, Kateryna moved to Dubai to showcase her talent, performing at many prestigious events and 5 Star hotels around the UAE. Throughout her stay, Kateryna brought to life the cultural diversity in Dubai through her extensive background and experience in Middle Eastern, Western and Asian Music, with genres ranging from Classical, Pop, Rock, Bollywood, Arabic and more!
